Nothing more which covers my eye! I nearly can see sharp with my left eye again(OK, not good enough for reading but I can see). And do you wanna know what I will do today? Just take a look at the GIF on the left side and you will know.                                                                           Snowman_throwing_snowballs_lg_wht          I also woulld like to do things like on the picture on the right hand side, but there is no one there who would like to do it too. So I will not have that 025_image026kind of fun.

We have snow!

Posted by hardyberlin on 26th December 2005

Hey everybody, it’s snowing here in Berlin and it looks fantastic. I would like to make a snowball fight. As a few of you might know, the 26.th is also a X-mas holiday in Germany. Well, X-mas was nice and I spend it with my parents. Only the 24.th was not so good because I had to go to an eye-clinic, and they diagnosed that I’ve damaged my erosio cornea with my fingernail(that one on my little finger; it’s very long and sharp as a knife). Well, was my fault. They gave  me an antibiotic gel, which I have to put on four times a day and I have to wear an eye-clap. So I look a bit like a pirate now.

But let us remember all the people which have it not as good as we have. It gives so many poor people which even haven’t enough to eat. And specially let us remember the people which lost everything, their life’s or family members at the tsunami exactly one year ago. It where so many in India, Indonesia, Thailand and the Maldive’s which lost everything. And it always can happen again, some scientists even say that it will happen soon. I hope and pray to the Lord that it will never happen again.

A real present, but worried

Posted by hardyberlin on 22nd December 2005

This is a real present: I just read my mails and had one from Jean, where she told me that Ernie’s biopsy was negative. No cancer. There you really can say that this is a Christmas present, cause real presents you can’t buy, they come to you.

The only thing now I’m worried and confused is Jovy. I can’t reach her via MSN. I know that she has a lot of things to do, but normally we ever found some time to chat. I have to try to phone her.

Well, I tried to call her but there is only a automatic message "can’t be reached", and someone has locked in at the messenger with her code. I never give codewords away, it’s to dangerous. I even use 12 different codes for security reasons and change them every month( in the army the codes where changed every day). Well, so I send her a short SMS. Let’s see what will happen.

She’s out

Posted by hardyberlin on 20th December 2005

Finally my Mom got out of the hospital and is back home again. Since 08:00 o’clock in the morning she was waiting for her papers and the transporter, and when it finally came, the papers still weren’t ready(after 5 1/2 hrs). They told her that they will send ‘em to her. If everyone would work as slow as they do, I don’t wanna know what would happen to this world. I only know one think: if they would run their own company it would collapse, instead of making profit.

But she is back home now and so my parents are happy, I went to her doc to get a new prescription, and got the stuff from the pharmacy.Snowman1_1 And maybe this evening I will get out to met some friends. Oh, yes there is still one think…  only 4 days and than it’s Christmas Evening !!!      (The snowman is moving, it’s a GIF like the Halloween pictures)

Saturday is X-mas Ev

Posted by hardyberlin on 19th December 2005

I’m wishing everyone who can read this side a nice, pleasant day and happy new week, and that it will be even more successful than the last one. I just called my Mom at the hospital, and she told me, that she will be home with my Dad by tomorrow. So both of them are real happy now. Also I went to my doc and he told me that everything went alright, and that I only need some Physiotherapy to walk as fast as I did before. So I’m now happy too.

And don’t forget: Saturday is X-mas Ev !  Bought all your presents? Got the tree? No??? Than hurry up!!!

I’m angry

Posted by hardyberlin on 17th December 2005

I’m really angry today! Never rely upon a woman(Pierre is gay, so he is a half woman). I was sitting at the beer-academy, waiting and wondering when they show up, and at 20:05 hrs I was calling Pierre to ask him where he is. He was sleeping! It was a hard day and he has headache’s and so he could not come( but he didn’t have called me before to tell me, and he is one of the 20 people who has my number). And then Manuela showed up at 22:30 hrs instead of 20:00 hrs. She has totally forgotten the meeting and other things about yesterday cause she had to much wine( only 5 glasses).

Also I’m pissed of the mail system. Two X-mas letters still haven’t arrived( Jovy’s with pictures and a little present in it and Ralf’s with only a card) and I posted them at the 3rd of December. No wonder that nobody likes to send normal letters anymore if they come to late or get lost!

TGiF

Posted by hardyberlin on 16th December 2005

Mom’s operation is now done but we still don’t know how it worked out. I just called her and she said, that even she doesn’t knows it cause nobody told her until now. Maybe later a doctor will come and tell her, and than she will call us.

But let’s come to the nice things. Today is dart-evening(even if we are only three players) and it will be fun. Yesterday evening(22:30hrs) I went to the beer-academy to have a beer and met Manuela, and told her about it so that she will come too. Well, I stayed longer than one beer, like always. I will write how it worked out, who won, and who had the highest points in a row. Until now my record still stands with 144 points.

Just got a call from the hospital, and they say that everything is okay with my Mom. She is feeling better now, too. Tomorrow she is also allowed to walk around and do what she wants to do. Thanks God.

Crazy World

Posted by hardyberlin on 15th December 2005

The world is funny. First Jovy lost her mobile phone and yesterday my one collapsed, so I had to went to the shop to buy a new one. Well, at least now I can make pictures with my phone, my old one was 5 years old and not able to do that. But again I got a Motorola, I like them more than the Nokia’s which everyone has. After getting it I went straight to Pierre cause we had an appointment for haircutting, and Hans-Dieter and Stefan where there too. So we also had a beer together. And our dart meeting on Friday is OK too.

Later on I was notified that Mom’s operation will be on Friday morning, and that she maybe back on Monday. Well, let’s hope so.

Good News-Bad News

Posted by hardyberlin on 13th December 2005

Well, first the good ones: met with Pierre and Miss Ellie on Sunday evening at the Beer-Academy, and she was very happy to see me again after a so long time. Later on Manuela showed up, so I asked her if she would like to join our dart team, and she said yes. We all had a nice evening together. Also my aunt Hedi’s knee is getting better now. And it seems that Jovy’s friends help her to build up her owen business.

And now the bad news: My Mom was taken out to the doc for an examination, and from there they brought her directly to the hospital. Today they have put her through a scanner and found out that she needs an operation too. They told us it will be only a small one(but I don’t trust doctors). Also Jean’s husband Ernie has medical problems, but I don’t know if I have the permission to talk about that.

But if I look back on this year, I don’t know what I should say about it. The only good thinks that happened was that I found Jovy, that our dart team found a nice place to play and that Manuela likes to join our team.
