Yes, this Friday was her day! She made with 117 points the highest score this Friday. And she was the winner at all, I won only one time and her husband twice. So she can be very proud of her results. We all had a nice eve together, with lots of talking, making jokes and playing dart.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday greetings. The first one reached me during I was sleeping. I woke up at 01:15am by Latin music from my mobile phone, and when I picked it up, it was Jovy, singing "Happy Birthday" for me. I was really exited. In the morning I was checking my e-mail account and the first one who have send me a mail was Agnes. After that family and other friends congratulated me.
Well, I didn’t made a party cause most friends are sick right now(we had minus 20° Celsius here in Berlin, in Bavaria they even had minus 38,5° Celsius), only had lunch with red wine at my parents and dinner also, and in the eve we where drinking a bottle of champagne together. So, that it was, but at around 10:30pm I decided to make a "short" visit to the beer-academy which lasted until 1:00am.

This Friday eve was not very exiting. Chrissie and Wolfgang didn’t came because she had a cold and Pierre still in the hospital. Even Alex and her ex-boyfriend wasn’t there to play. It’s caused by the weather last week, it was absolutely lousy, very cold, and we also had ice-rain on Friday, so the streets where very slippery.
But now the good things: the Chili con Carne, which I made on Monday, was/is excellent and I made so much, that I’ll need two weeks eating Chili everyday to finish it. So most of it went into the freezer. And the other nice thing is, that Agis has Internet access now too. He already signed in as a friendster member. And also Agnes had her birthday yesterday, I hope that she had a wonderful birthday party with her family and friends, and lots of presents too.

Well, now I really know why Pierre couldn’t come to two of our meetings. He is in the hospital not only for an examination, he had problems with his heart. Maybe he is able to come out this weekend or they will let him out on Monday. And then he will go for three month to a special clinic, because "someone" told him that he has a alcohol problem(I know who talked him into that). Well, most of the people don’t think so, cause he was working every day from early morning on and only twice a week he had alcoholic beverages, mostly on Wednesday after work he had a couple of beers and was back home between 7:00 and 8:00p.m., and on Friday when we had our meetings.
OK, then sometimes he was drinking a lot, but to say that he had a alcohol problem, no. Only people which had a real problem with it, and needed to drink each morning and had at least a bottle of booze a day(like "someone" had, and you even could not recognize that he was drunk!), and now are drinking absolutely nothing would say bullshit like this. It’s like with the smokers; ex-smokers are the most radical non-smokers.
All others don’t think so. Not my parents, not Chrissie and Wolfgang, not Beate and her staff and not me.

Yesterday eve I’ve got a call from one of our dart-group, and was told that Herbert, another member and good friend died on Monday.
Well, I don’t really know what I should tell about him. That he was a good and reliable friend, or that he wasn’t. Both of them is true, it only depended how and who you are. I know that he helped always if he could, but I have also seen that he didn’t helped people which helped him before, just because he believed lies which where told to him. So it wasn’t really his fault if he didn’t helped. But I, from my side, only can say that he helped a lot of people and was very reliable friend, when you called him he was there.
He was sick since a long time; everybody know that he was HIV positive; and he didn’t took any medication against it. He always said that the pills would make the live a bit longer, but not very enjoyable, headache’s, puking and other pain too. So he decided to enjoy the rest of his live and have at least some fun.
And I have to say that he was right. He did not died because of the AIDS virus, he also had cancer, and that was it what really killed him in the end. I hope, I believe, no I know that he will have it better now. The last few month where to painful for him. RIP Herbert

Well, the first week of the new year wasn’t special except that I could see Jovy via webcam while I was chatting with her. I really enjoyed it, have to get a webcam soon.
Otherwise there where only the normal stuff, like making new doctors appointments for my parents and getting papers ready, insurance, government stuff and that kind of things.
Also our dart group met at Wednesday at the "HarDie’s", another pub which is near by the "KaDeWe", because Pierre could not come on Friday to our normal meeting. But Chrissie and Wolfgang came on Friday to the beer-academy too, but this time we where not playing, only talking. Playing dart with three people is not so much fun, also there where to many people there this eve.

Hello to everyone! I hope everybody had a nice New Years Eve party like I had. Our dart group was at Pierre’s apartment. Eating a lot and, as it is normal, also drinking(but nobody was drunken). Until midnight we where drinking beer, and 4 minutes to midnight I opened the champagne. We had 4 bottles of them there and only Pierre, Chrissie and me where drinking it. Wolfgang and Pierre also had a few hard stuff drinks, but I preferred not to do so. Well, at about 4:30 we finished cause Wolfgang was tired(Chrissie would have liked to party longer), and They drove home with a cab while I was walking that short distance to my home, I even went in to the Beer Academy to wish them a happy new year too, and had a beer there. So at 5 o’clock I was home.
When I got up at 13:30 hrs I still was tired, and I was it the whole day. So I relaxed and was only watching TV.
