Yes, it really is. The Yahoo messenger is a nice thing for chatting, but it always gives problems if I wanna use my webcam. With the old one there always was to much traffic on their server, and now there is a firewall problem, even if I deactivate the firewalls. That problem never happens with MSN Live, there it works even with activated firewall, there it seems to be no problem. I tried it out today, was working perfect. Yesterday I made my first back up on the new pc(only with norton ghost), and at the end of this week I will burn an image of my harddisk. Safety first.

Finally my new one arrived and I found time to install the DSL card and the software for it(first I thought that it might could give problems with the software). So now I´m happy again. Only working with XP is a bit different than w2k, but maybe I will install it on the second hard disk. But first I need all my other programs I´m used to.

I´v just read a notification, that my new PC is on it´s way to me. So it might get delivered during the next days. Than only installing the DSL card in it, installing the software, and I don´t have to come to the cafe again, thanks God. I´m waiting desperately.

Since yesterday my Dad is back home again, still a bit weak but okay. If he wants to walk in his apartment he has to use a walking stick, and on the streets he needs the wheelchair. So today eve he will get his first draft beer since a long time, because at the "Berliner Bier Academy" they have a little party(two years anniversary)with BBQ and free beer. I will take him there and bring him back, too. The only thing he will have to do is sitting there and eat and drink.

I´ve just ordered my new pc, and they told me, that I will have to wait two weeks for it. A very long time for me, but they have problems getting enough of the new Core 2 Duo cpu´s. But so what, then I will have a nice and fast pc again, much faster than my old one was.
