Today my Mom visited me with a complain from my aunt Heike which is living in Hungary. She was quite upset, that everything in my blog is written in English, cause so she had to put her few words of school-English together to understand what had happen to Dad. Well, I only can tell her the same that I also told my Mom: all of my friends and relatives, who read this blog, are speaking English very good, many of them only speak English but only a few are speaking German. So, what can I do? Everything bilingual? No - for that I’m really to lazy; and that would make her forget even the last words she know. Writing everything which is important in both languages? At least about the family health? Well, maybe.
Also, was kann ich tun? Alles zweisprachig? Nein - dazu bin ich wirklich zu faul; außerdem würde selbiges sie die restlichen Wörter nur vergessen lassen. Alles wichtige in beiden Sprachen schreiben? Zumindestens über die Gesundheit der Familie? Nun ja, vielleicht.

As you probably have recognized, I didn’t found much time to write anything during the last weeks. Okay, you could say that I might be a bit lazy, but I even didn’t went to our weekly dart meeting, and everyone who knows me at least a little bit will be very surprised about that. I was knocked out for three days(health), so I had to do everything what should have been done during the rest of the time. And finally, when I thought that all is running normal, birthday present for Dad bought(tomorrow, on Monday he has), on Friday eve my Mom called that he fell down in the bathroom and couldn’t get up. Thanks God he didn’t injured himself. But that, and the worrying that it might happen again next day, has made us a sleepless night again.
So even yesterday I was still a bit tired from that when I opened my yahoo-messenger and found news there. But there where also messages with a link to a picture page. Because I know the person who send them, I used it. And guess what happened than: my security system gave alert! It told me, that a Trojan has tried to invade my system and got blocked. Nice, right?
I really don’t like stuff like this, even if I´m most of the time not as an administrator in the net, so that bad things like this can’t happen so easy to me.

Yesterday was horrible. I don´t know why, because the day started so good. I loaded the new IE 7 down and was satisfied with it, than a few other programs and updates- everything worked out fine. But than, after lunch, I had to bring my Dad to the doctor. We got a cab very quick, his wheelchair did´t make problems- so far so good.
But than everything started. When we arrived there was construction work on the street, so that the cab driver had to drive around for a while to find a place where he could let us out, then I hurt my finger when I opened the chair(squeezed it), and it still hurts. When he was finished, and we wanted to drive back I called the cab-company, we waited 20 minutes- no cab was coming! Second call- same company- they where sorry but they had no van or kombi available. Calling another company- waiting again- no cab. It took us nearly an hour to get one.
Than, two hours after we where back, there was the owners conference- so he wanted to join by himself instead of giving me power. And so it came what we where afraid of. After the conference, when everyone has left, he was so powerless, that he fell down on his knees and could not get up. Mrs. Maywald and me tried to lift him up in his wheelchair- no way(he weights 35 kg more than me). He was like a wet bag glued to the floor. Thanks God the homosexual couple, which are living below my parents, arrived. Together with them we where able to lift him up and in the chair. To bring him back to the apartment was than only a little problem, I managed it without any accident.
Today he promised my Mom never to do such things again- but will he really- I don´t know.

Sometimes I act like an idiot! Thursday, when I was shopping for my parents, I saw a "Wireless Laser mouse" at the supermarket for a very low price. So I decided to buy it. Well, Monday I will return it with the right comments. That damn´t thing worked only one day, and even than not good enough. First, like always, it had to be loaded(12 hours minimum), what works only if the computer is switched on because it gets the energy via the USB connector(unpractical, but okay for that price), than the loading station has to find the mouse. And there is the big problem of it! After ten times of trying, it finally worked out. So I was able to use it for a while.
After a two hours I had to leave for a few minutes, and so I put it back on the loading station. Guess what happen when I´ll was back and wanted to use it again. It didn´t work! I had to reconnect it again: pushing the connect button at the station, push the connect button at the mouse- and waiting. This time it worked out after about 15 times of trying it. And the last two days? Nothing- absolutely nothing! They can put that thing on trash or there where they like to, but never again they should try to sell stuff like that to me! It´s better for their health. Oh, by the way, do you like to know from what company it is(it was standing in very small letters inside of the instruction manual)? It was made in china for Siemssen Electronics. So, if you only take a short look, you must think that it would be Siemens.

Some complains reached me today, because I´m not telling anything new about my Mom and Dad. Well, there is nearly nothing new, except that I went out with them last Saturday on a shopping tour around downtown(Dad was in his wheelchair and I pushed him), and, after Mom went home, I showed him whats new there. Also we went together to church that day, which was quite surprising for me, because I can´t remember when he was there the last time(even I was at church more often).
About drinking alcohol; we all guess that one or two beers in a week is quite okay for him, normally everybody should drink that amount every day(at least the doctors say that). And there is no more Bourbon-coke drinking like it was before, when he was in Canada and all the other years since than. He stopped drinking totally, except the one or two beer´s in a week. And with his 78 years we should let him that little bit of enjoyment, don´t you agree with me? Also Mom is happy, when I´ll take him out there and he has his fun.
About my new PC, well, I still have to adjust some things, the webcam only works at MSN and Skype, not on Yahoo, but I hope to get it fixed soon.
