Some funny things

Posted by hardyberlin on 3rd December 2006

Sorry, but I didn’t had much time during the last weeks. Decorating my parents balcony and their x-mas tree, designing posters and postcards for the Bier Academy(for their New Years eve party and the hang-over breakfast), and the crazy weather made me a bit dizzy also. And if I would have wrote the about political stuff what happened…well, I’ll better say nothing about it.

But at least there are others which write things which cheer me up and give me a smile: Oliver M.H. from the Antibuerokratieteam wrote a superb article about the differences between England and Switzerland, especially how good things are working in the Swiss and how bad in England. It really made me smile, but then he went on, writing about the real funny stuff, and that was gorgeous.

Can you imagine, that an ambulance car needs 8 hours to transport a patient to a psychiatric hospital which is just 7,8 miles away? No? But it happened(Sunday Express), and guess why. The stupid drivers just followed the instructions of the satnav system, which seemed to work "a little bit" incorrect(maybe it had the newest software from Microsoft in it, who knows). But that the drivers where so damn stupid that they didn’t recognized that they where wrong, that is sad. Or, how the Telegraph wrote: Brain not supplied- First turn on your satnav, then turn off your common sense. Well, I guess that the drivers will need at least a few month in the same place like their patient.

Than he wrote about Jeremy Paxman, the anchorman of newsnight at BBC 2. Well, I will not tell you what, but you should see the links on You Tube which he added. After watching them I was laying on the floor and couldn’t stop laughing. It’s real fun: Politicians avoiding questions? , Newsnight weather report , or Oh my newsnight . Take a look and you’ll understand why.
