Valentines and more

Happy Valentines Day for everyone. Do you wanna know what nice thing happened today at the Philippines? There a priest was holding a big wedding ceremony on the beach where 100 couples got married. I found it really sweet and romantic when I heard about it at the news. But do you know what happens today in Japan? There it’s totally different! There all man are getting chocolate from the woman, not only the husbands or beloved ones, no, even the bosses and co-workers gets it. But, like everything in Japan, it’s a bit more complicated, cause there will be a little difference. It gives the cheap giri choco and the expensive honmei choco. "Giri" is an old word from the samurai codex and stands for duty and obligation, while the word "Honmei" stands for true love. And exactly one month later, on the "White Day", the 14th of march, the man will have to give white chocolate(or even something better) to the woman. Nice right?
But now to something which made me angry a few days ago. Everyone knows YouTube and some of us are using it. But now there seems to be censorship, or should I say Islamic censorship? They toke away Nick Gisburnes clips and closed his account. Why? Well, he put up a clip of Koran quotes, which showed the intolerance and violence of the teachings in it. And YouTube means that this is inappropriate. Well, he did the same with the bible before, that was okay for them. Eugene Volokh wrote a very interesting article about it, where you also can find a link to the clip, cause someone else republished it as a protest. I guess everyone should read it, and, because YouTube is owned by Google, also should think about it when he is using Google next time. If there will be a next time. It gives other search engines, and if Google behaves like this….
