FOXNews.com: Washington Post, Other Newspapers Won’t Run ‘Opus’ Cartoon Mocking Radical Islam

Well, I thought it’s the land of the free, but now they are making censorship against cartoons, cause it could make some idiots angry, because some could respond emotionally? That is sad, really sad. I like the comic, and I’m desperately waiting until September 2nd, when the continuation of it will be online.

But it also bothers me, what kind of message this is, because it seems to me that they have already got double standards, that there is a different treatment between the religions. Jokes about Christians - Okay, but jokes about Moslem’s - NO. Well, not with me, I don’t give a fuck about ‘em!

Never enough time

Posted by hardyberlin on 27th August 2007

Hello to everyone, sorry that I didn’t find the time to write or answer your mails, but I can’t split up myself  into three persons so that I can be at many places at the same time, even if I would like to do so sometimes.

But there also wasn’t much to write about, except about some stupid or annoying political stuff, but that might be not so good for my blood pressure.

But it also gives some funny things like this: one country puts pressure to another country, that they will put pressure to an NGO in another country. Got it? No? Well, than read this: Turkey demands from Israel, to exert pressure on Jewish organizations in the USA(especially the anti defamation league), in order to prevent a resolution of the congress about the acknowledgment of the genocide at the Armenians in the Osman realm. So the Turkish Ambassador in Israel, Narik Tan, on Sunday to the „Jerusalem Post“. If not, it could harm the good relations between the two states. During 1915 and 1917 about 1,5 Million Armenian people died in the Osman realm- which is now the Turkey- but Ankara indicates a number of „only 300 000“ victims, and denies vehement that it concerned thereby a genocide.

Well, Asterix and Obelix probably would say: „These (the Turks) are crazy“

The Big Party

Posted by hardyberlin on 5th August 2007

The big party was fantastic, a gorgeous event, and lots of well known guests where there, like Udo Walz and Rene Koch, the visagist. The staff had lots of work to do this eve, so even Nina, Jurij’s wife, and Erika, one of her staff of the "Cafe Piter" had to help. The bar was overfilled with guests, and everyone enjoyed it.

And than, at about 10:30(not at 10:00 like it was wrote down), finally Amanda Pur , aka Brunhilde Amanda Mielke, had her first appearance. And it was chanson at it’s best. Amanda Pur filled the rooms with her voice. She has this power, cause of the strength in her voice and in her body. She lives the small stories of the chansons she’s singing. It’s pure emotion. It was an overwhelming, fascinating experience. And her second appearance (in the red dress) was even better. We hope, that she will come back again soon. It was an evening filled with emotions, fun and happiness. Well, and like always, I got to bed when other people where thinking about getting up.

Pictures of this event you can find here , and from the last party here. Other information’s you can always get at www.diekleinephilharmonie.eu .
