Who killed Benazir? Or gave the order to kill her? Many speculations are going on around the world. Here at Wired Blog Network you’ll find a very interesting article about it. There is a line up of the potential killers…all of them had a reason for doing it.
And U.S. officials suspect Taliban leader Mehsud behind it like you can read at CNN, while his spokesman denied that. "Baitullah Mehsud is not involved in the killing of Benazir Bhutto", Maulana Mohammed Umer said in a phone call to AP.

Christmas is over- and what happens? The tough reality is back. And Pakistan’s hope for democracy and modernization, woman’s rights, and education for everyone is dead.
Benazir Bhutto, who returned to Pakistan to run for Prime Minister for the Pakistan’s People’s Partie, was assassinated in a suicide attack that also killed at least 20 others at a campaign rally.
She wanted that everyone could get a good education, modernize the country, equal rights for man and woman- that’s what the mullahs didn’t like.
And she wanted to change Pakistan, bring it back to democracy. That’s what General Musharraf didn’t like.
The Al Qaeda has officially confessed that they killed her. But many people also blame Musharraf, some even think that his secret service is involved in it. Well, I don’t know what I should believe..
She was laid to rest in her family mausoleum today. Hundreds of thousands of people in the surrounding streets almost brought the procession to a standstill before it finally reached the mausoleum.

Merry Christmas
and Peace on Earth
And telephone connections which are always working. But maybe that’s to much to wish about. Maybe we should start with something smaller, something that we can work on personally. Like sharing this life in a better way, and helping each other, to help if someone needs our help. Everyone should think about that during these days. So that we will not forget it after the holidays.
Take care and God bless you all.

During the last weeks I was to angry about the political situation, so I decided not to write anything about it. And I’m not only talking about what’s up in Burma or in Islamic countries, no. If you open your eyes you can see so much bullshit everywhere. Even here in Europe.
Like the paranoid politician, who wants to install Trojan’s on private computers, so that the police can make a online search at your PC. He said it will be used for the fight against terror only - but one week later it comes out, that the music- and movie industry will get all the results, too. So how long will it take until the tax-office and other organizations will get them also?
Or a governing mayor who wants to close an historic city airport. He even told a newspaper, he knows that the majority of the population of the city wants to keep this airport open, but he gives a shit on that what they want. Their will does not count.
Or in Burma, where Ko Htin Kyaw’s trial got moved to a special court after his hearing attracted a high level of public interest( Source: DVB ).
Or like the 11 year old girl from Afghanistan with her 40 year old husband, who looks like 65, on their wedding day. When she was asked what she feel today, she sadly answered: „I feel nothing. I don’t know this man. What should I feel?“ The picture is the UNICEF picture of the year. According to data of UNICEF there are more than 60 million young woman world-wide, who where married before their majority. Nearly all of them in Islamic countries, there it is just a business, not love.
There are only a few things which seem to change to a better way. Maybe it’s the letter from Fidel Castro, I heard about this morning on CNN , where he said that he won’t „cling to office“ and won’t stand in the way of younger leaders. We will see what it brings, I’m very skeptical.
